The »Kühles Licht und weite See« exhibition at Kunsthalle Bremen presented a selection of around 180 drawings created by Dutch and Flemish artists in the 16th through 18th centuries. The Exhibition, focusing on restoration was delicately curated by Dr. Christien Melzer.
The catalog focuses on different aspects of the restoration process and the materials used in the drawings. The layout reflects the scientific approache by the strict listing of facts and sample images on the left page and also gives the beautiful drawings a stage by showing them in full size on the right.
